BRC provides "best-value" technical and management solutions to a diverse government and commercial customer base in the following key business areas: test & evaluation, systems analysis & integration, security & intelligence, and R&D. Responsibilities: As an early career Dynamics Analyst, you will provide valuable insight in the development, test, and certification of liquid engine rocket propulsion systems for a wide variety of NASA's ongoing and future projects. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will develop structural dynamic analyses of liquid engine elements, as well as analyzing the dynamic behavior of high-speed turbomachinery. Primary job duties include engaging with vehicle development teams to provide insight on liquid engine rocket propulsion systems, as well as producing independent analytical assessments. With tutelage from senior engineers, you will develop the skills necessary to provide technical oversight in the evaluation and design of liquid rocket engine elements with particular emphasis on dynamic analysis of turbomachinery, rotordynamics, fluid bearings, damping seals, as well as basic signal processing and development, validation, and maintenance of rotordynamic software. |
