Overview:

The Embedded/Video Engineer (EVE) will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of embedded software throughout its life cycle. The EVE will work closely with the Program Manager and the Software Development Manager to develop scalable software systems optimized for target embedded devices. The position will require some travel to support customer presentations, site surveys and field tests. Location of work is the BRC corporate office in Huntsville.

Responsibilities:

• Embedded Software development primarily in C/C++, although Python and/or Javascript may come up as well.
• Software Design and Specification
• Support the development of Interface Control Documents
• Support the development of testing procedures for the Prototype System.
• Communicate (written and verbal) clear and crisp insights and observations of system performance.

• BS Computer science, computer engineering or proven equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Systems Development
• Experience with complete life cycle of embedded software systems.
• Knowledge of modern OS coding techniques and hardware interfaces.
• High-level writing and documentation skills.
• Must be a critical thinker.
• Active Secret clearance required
  

• Experience with Nvidia Jetson Family
• Containerization technology (Docker)
• Video Processing (Low latency)
• Ground Combat Vehicle related projects
