Position Description:
Support all fiscal management and lead financial administration aspects of First Equipment Company. Ensure all team members, including project manager, FEC Shop Manager and supporting staff are following Turner financial policy and procedures, and communicate any potential profitability or risk to management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Set up, lead, oversee and implement procedures to insure client contractual requirements are met in regard to billing and accounts receivable.
* Regularly audit client billing and business line ledger, ensure both are meeting with contract requirements, GAAP and company policy.
* Manage accounts payable for vendor invoice processing, ensure proper sales and use tax are accounted for and responsible for keeping accounts up to date for assigned projects.
* Manage month close process ensuring all client bills and FEC costs are posted or accrued if work is in place and of material value.
* Update monthly projects assets and rentals for insurance documentation with project team.
* potential risks or profitability to project team.
* Assist with all internal and external audit requests.
* Assist with fixed asset management and depreciation, equipment lease monitoring and analysis on pro
* Prepare and discuss weekly and monthly financial performance
* Monthly journal entry preparation
* Knowledge of AED Green Book and its use to ensure FEC is meeting its contractual requirements with its projects their clients.
* Responsible for review and analysis of inventory transactions to ensure integrity of inventory value, COGS, and inventory adjustments, update general ledgers, gather and analyze data, perform audits and assessments, and produce regular inventory reports.
* Assist with the evaluation of equipment rental efficiency, track current asset market values, assist in valuations related to asset purchases and disposition.
