Job Description
Description: NSI requires a Journeyman Acquisition/Program Management Analyst to support the MDA C3PO Program Office. The Acquisition/Program Management Analyst will provide review of the Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP) approval process to include Pre-Acquisition Strategy Panel, Acquisition Strategy Panel and Acquisition Strategy Board (ASB). The candidate will be responsible for providing guidance, resolving issues, and obtaining signatures as part of the Acquisition Strategy Panel approval process. Adheres and ensures compliance of all MDA standards and policies that are applied for the development, documentation, and execution of all MDA ASP/ASBs. Review acquisition documentation across the program, including acquisition strategies, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Government and Contractor schedules and Statement of Work to ensure consistency between planning and execution strategies. Support the Government by ensuring that ASPs are properly documented and approved in accordance with Federal Government, DoD, and MDA processes and policies to justify the MDA Program Acquisition Strategy as MDA’s best procurement decision. Update, maintain and support the MDA’s eCART database, DA Acquisition Support (DAXS) tracker, toolkit, and documentation; and provide acquisition strategy advice to program and functional offices.

Location: Huntsville, AL

Education: BS or BA degree required.

Experience: 10 years’ experience directly supporting ACAT I/II program(s) or the acquisition of Services in DoD as an acquisition/program analyst overseeing cost, schedule, and performance.  Experience preparing milestone decision packages or MDA equivalent. Knowledge preparing acquisition strategy for an Acquisition Strategy Panel and Acquisition Strategy Board or equivalent. Experience reviewing, processing, and formulating strategy products. 

Desired Experience:
  • Experience with MDA acquisition processes
  • Experience with MDA and BMDS programs
  • Experience with MS project
  • Previous DAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management or equivalent

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
