  • Estimated annual base pay:(min.) $98,500.00 - (mid.) $123,100.00 - (max.) $147,700.00 USD Annual

If you are aManufacturing Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you! In this role you will provide manufacturing expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our manufacturing organization and/or supply base. You will also provide leadership and direction in manufacturing for programming, processing, tooling, or working with development engineering on new hardware.What You Will Be Doing
  • Supporting the manufacturing, assembly and test floor for any process related questions and develop/train other members in the manufacturing process.
  • Creating and maintainingprocess documentation.
  • Trouble shooting and solving manufacturing, assembly, and test problems.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for production issues.
  • Analyzing data to lead and promote process improvements.
  • Dispositioning nonconformances and creating rework instructions.
  • Implementing complex engineering changes.
  • Initiating, justifying, and implementing new advanced capital equipment purchases.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure manufacturability of products.
  • Mentoring Level 1 and 2 Manufacturing Engineers and/or Manufacturing Specialists.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in technical/science or international equivalent required.
  • Greater than 4 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree required.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing, assembly and test processes and ability to read product drawings, including GD&T and specification flow downs.
  • Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical principals and schematics.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; understanding of Root Cause Analysis.
  • Solid understanding of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing tools/concepts to improve processes.
  • Solid written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Basicconceptsof Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) to support new product introduction.
