  • Estimated annual base pay:$120,927 (minimum) $151,159 (midpoint) $181,391 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark?If you are a Staff Test Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position will focus on performing design and support of high complexity test systems and equipment, proving mentoring to other engineers, and driving process improvements. This position works under a low level of supervision with a high level of independent work. The Staff Test Engineer provide awareness and understanding of overall project portfolio, interactions, and issues. In addition, this position may participate in project-specific relationship building with Customers, Suppliers, individuals, or organizations.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develops hardware integration and test algorithms for an integrated proprietary test measurement system using LabView and Python.
  • Designs, supports, improves, and tests high complexity test systems and equipment. Ensures designs meet manufacturability, testability,andreliability criteria. Independently troubleshoots/analyzes system problems.
  • Participates in creation and evaluation of new product test requirements, test methods and strategies; provides estimates for new test equipment.
  • May carry out complex or novel research assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
  • Promotes and implements process improvements. Evaluates and defines engineering processes and procedures.

What We Are Looking For
  • U.S.bachelor's or master's degree in arts/sciences, orinternational equivalent in Technologies/Science. Or greater than 8 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advance degree required.
  • Licenses and Certifications-Six Sigma Green belt training preferred. National Instruments LabView, Test Stand Certificate preferred.
  • Defines, develops, tests, and supports moderate to high complexity software applications. Provides guidance to users on program functioning.
  • Strong knowledge of software development and analysis tools including editors, compilers, linkers, debuggers, code analyzers, version control systems, software testing tools, etc.
  • Independent unit testing, debugging, software/hardware integration.
  • Compiles and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. Provides guidance to users on program functioning. Develops user manuals and training materials.
  • Must be competent in using LabVIEW Object-Oriented Programming, Actor Framework, MAP functions, packed libraries, and other advanced LabVIEW functions.
  • Expert knowledge of LabView and Python software development, Git source control, software testing tools, etc.
