We are seeking a Digital Artist that thrives on bringing concepts and ideas to life using advanced digital animation techniques, tools, and game engines. You will participate in the crucial phase of engaging with stakeholders, capturing and developing their ideas, and sketching rough drafts of those ideas to lead into media creation and/or training products. Our Digital Artists produce a wide variety of media, including live action video, computer generated imagery (CGI) video, professional sketches and compositions, as well as immersive presentations and printed material. You will along side other artists as well as software developers when creating visualizations using software game engines and frameworks. You will contribute to the development of software and video projects, supported with industry leading hardware and software tools to help you be successful. You will be provided opportunities to further your abilities into integrating digital animation assets with software with a synergistic team that leverages creativity as a part of its problem solving. You will need excellent communications skills and embrace working in a highly motivated team environment. To accomplish this, you will need strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

Required

• BS or BAinDigitalAnimation and/or game development discipline or other relevant discipline
• Understanding of game engine (i.e. Unreal Engine 4/5 and/or Unity) development and modeling principles
• Knowledgeof rigging and animations using game modeling software (i.e. Maya and/or Blender)
• Understanding of the assembly and production of videos with recorded and computer-generated content (i.e. Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro), including audio)
• Occasional travel
• Ability to obtain and maintainsecurity clearance

Desired

• Minimum of one year of assembly and production computer videos
• Understanding of Agile software development
• Working knowledge of CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) software development processes
• Understanding of Git-based configuration management
