There is a current need for a CNC Machinist to work 2nd shift at the Parker Hannifin location in Huntsville, Alabama. The job requires the set-up and operation of CNC machines to perform precision metal cutting.

This position is full-time with a $2.00/hour shift premium and quarterly profit sharing. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of CNC programs, have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, use precision measuring instruments and apply shop mathematics as needed. Work is performed in a team setting.

Some previous education and/or machining experience operating CNC machines is strongly preferred.

This job requires standing for 8-10 hours per day; frequent reaching, grasping and lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional walking; working in and around oil and solvent.
