This Project Engineer leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management and troubleshooting for engineering projects | Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost. The ideal candidate will have experience with missile and rocket manufacturing capabilities

Major Position Responsibilities
    Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
  • Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.
  • Provides technical support for the engineering process.
  • Designs, implements, and communicates, an operational plan for completing the project. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
  • Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
  • Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
  • Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.
  • Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors
Basic Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree required

Experience Required:

  • 10 to 12 years of experience.

Skills Preferred:

  • Oral and written communication skills. Critical thinking skills. Problem solving skills. Mathematic skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. Project Management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Pay Range (USD)
116,550.00-216,450.00
Additional Compensation - ICP
Hired applicant will be eligible to participate in the Company's Incentive Compensation Program.
