As a member of the FUCHS Smart Services (FSS) team, you will be part of a driven community focused on providing our customers with world-class solutions that help push our customers forward. The FUCHS Smart Services Technician in Arab, Alabama, is responsible for the care and maintenance of our client's industrial fluids including wash and waste fluids.

Additional responsbilities include:

• Operate recycling system including pumping from and to customer wash systems
• Sample and test fluids in use as well as make corrections based on testing results
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on recycling system including filter changes and sys-tem cleaning
• Follow procedures and adhere to all customer and safety requirements
• Participate in daily communication meetings with site supervisor and communicate effectively
• Daily record keeping of all tests and operational data in a web based system
• Material handling (including fork lift operation)
  

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work full time or part time as well as split shift depending on the needs of the customer
• 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Stand for majority of a shift for approximately 4-8 hours and walk several miles daily
• Lift a minimum of 50lbs regularly several times per hour during a normal shift
• Bend/crouch/stoop and dip on a regular basis in order to obtain samples
• Basic computer knowledge/ability to navigate the internet & email
  

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position starts from $17.90 per hour,but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
