Description:
IS4S is seeking to hire experienced software development experts who thrive in a Digital Engineering environment working space and engineering applications. Candidates will support a variety of government-funded projects related to open architecture, open systems, containerization of military Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology and applications. IS4S is especially focused on breaking vendor lock by developing modular open systems that enable rapid prototyping and deployment of advanced capabilities to the warfighter.

Required Experience:

• Software applications expertise
• Knowledge in C2MS standards, OpenC3, Docker-ization, Container Management, CI/CD pipeline workflows
• Programming languages/tools such as C++, Java, Python, HTML, SysML, AFSIM, AI/ML, MATLAB
• Software engineering development principals and agile development methodologies
• Experience in testing, debugging and improving code and the work of others to deliver products on cost and schedule
• Experience with the software development life cycle including the planning, design, development, integration, testing, deployment and maintenance
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

• B.S. in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related STEM field
• 10+ years in software development supporting communications systems, military electronics, or avionics systems
• Desired Experience in:
  • Tactical Military Radio, Communications, and Networking Software
  • Military communications waveforms including: Link-16, BE-CDL, and other LOS / BLOS networks
  • Development of Military Airborne Operational Flight Programs (OFP)
  • Embedded Software Development
  • AGILE DevSecOps Environments - procedures, processes, practices and an ability to build necessary infrastructure.
  • Full stack software development 
  • Vue.js /React or similar Javascript framework
  • Python machine learning packages 
  • Build tools; npm, gulp, webpack, gradle, maven, ant, etc.
  • Restful APIs 
  • Version control systems and related best practices, particularly Git Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS)
  • Computer networking
  • Cyber-security best practices, tools, procedures, coding standards, and use of third-party software. 

• Familiar with open standards such as: SOSA, WOSA, MORA, OMS, and OCS
