Responsibilities

The Inventory Specialist Coordinator role is responsible for inventories components, raw materials, and sub-assemblies based on MRP/ERP directives.

The Inventory Specialist Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the cycle count team.

    Must have great leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding team members while working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Must be able to balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Must be adaptable and prepared to make changes when necessary

What You'll Do:

Shall include but not be limited to the following:

  • Performs daily counts, monitor and maintains current inventory levels based on established "ABC" codes for both production lines and in warehouses(s).
  • Applicant needs strong analytical, problem solving, and decision -making skills. Publish daily count results, research inventory discrepancies and initiate solutions.
  • Maintain databases, perform physical counts of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Verify Inventory shortages and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Perform routine clerical duties, including setting up counts, entering counts using Microsoft D365 and Warehouse Management System "WMS" mobile device.
  • Assist in resolving receiving shortages and assist Procurement department in maintaining and improving all inventory replenishment systems.
  • Provide back-up support for supply chain functions and other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support production including recommending solutions to improve accuracy.
  • Forklift operating experience preferred.
Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, MRP, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Proficient with Office, Excel organization, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to influence others and manage conflict in a manufacturing environment.
