Job Description
Day & Zimmermann has an opening for Nuclear Access Security Administrative Assistant (temporary) at the TVA Central In-Processing in Hollywood, Alabama.

This is a temporary assignment - Expected duration is August - November. No per-diem, local candidates preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Point of contact between internal/external clients as well as team members.
  • Perform the tasks of customer service and support (general clerical/data entry/phone).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Available for work 40-70 hours per week and some weekends (beginning from 5:00 am CST)
  • Must be able to obtain a Nuclear Security Clearance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Well-developed and effective communication skills (both verbal and written) and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced working environment with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and relationships with client, applicant, and union relationships.
  • Requires good time management skills with the ability to prioritize daily workload.
  • Able to work as part of a team with appropriate problem-solving skills and dispute resolution.
  • Time management skills is required with organization, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Needs to be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
  • Able to maintain accurate daily reports and databases and the ability to analyze data.
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $$22,000- $95,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
