Job Description
Position Title: Brake Press Operator
Wage: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Brake Press Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up and prepare brake press machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tooling, adjusting settings, and programming machine parameters.
- Operate brake press machinery to bend, shape, and form metal components according to engineering drawings and job orders.
- Monitor production output to ensure parts meet quality standards and dimensional tolerances, making adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on brake press machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged components, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Maintain accurate production records, including job orders, inspection reports, and machine maintenance logs.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate workflow and ensure production schedules are met.
Brake Press Operator Requirements:
- Requirements are 1-2 years of Brake Press Operation or Shear Operation.
