ATI Millersburg is seeking a Process Specialist to join our Quality team. This is a day shift position working Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some flexibility and reports directly to the Senior Leader of Quality in Consolidation. Basic Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of inventory/material control, manufacturing, or warehouse experience.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite using word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Compliance/regulation/detail focused individual with a strong ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Applying ATI Management Core Values, Business Ethics and Safety Vision in performing daily activities and in behavior towards staff members and coworkers.
  • Ability to obtain a DOE Security Clearance is required.

Preferred

  • Quality system experience strongly preferred.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High skill level in ERP system, Oracle preferred.
  • Candidates must be comfortable managing conflict, change and multiples priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for Continuous Improvement and an understanding of Lean Manufacturing.

Primary Responsibilities

Employees in this position are responsible for performing a wide variety of responsibilities related to the release and allocation of material, ensuring internal and customer requirements are met. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving raw material and evaluating purchase order requirements, preparing material release documentation, assigning chemistry and technical data to inventory, and transacting material in Oracle ERP system.
  • Managing all raw material release processes in Consolidation as well as other areas in Millersburg facility and assist in the maintenance of the materials approved suppliers list.
  • Support transaction and transfer of raw and recycle materials to support scheduling requirements for production.
  • Work with and assist Operations team to maintain accurate inventory and Kanban levels.
  • Review process records/travelers, issue/assess process nonconformance's, and prepare release documents for product certification.
  • Support and interact with production departments by performing safety/quality engagement, quality inspections as needed, and other duties as assigned.
  • Be the process owner of one or more elements of the Business Management System.
  • Provide support and backup coverage for other Quality roles within the facility.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement efforts to implement standards focused on accuracy and efficiency to improve SPQRC.
